The view from this house-sized boulder is breathtaking even if you don’t dare stand on the overhanging lip, a dizzying 3600 feet above the Rogue River. The hike here is nice in June, when acres of blooming rhododendrons along the Panther Ridge Trail are joined by yellow iris, white beargrass, and fawn lilies.
