This popular loop heads deep into the rolling forests of the Three Sisters Wilderness.  At Horse Lake, a fisherman’s trail leads around the shore to a dramatic rock peninsula—the ideal spot for lunch.  On the hike back, take a short, little-known side path to Colt Lake, a miniature version of Horse Lake. Mosquitoes are a problem throughout July.
