Expect mountain goats and wildflowers in the high meadows at Twin Lakes, in a cliff-rimmed cirque at the southern end of the Elkhorn Crest Trail. Take your choice of two trailheads. Start at Marble Pass if you prefer a gentler trail and don’t mind a grueling drive. Start at Road 030 for an easier drive but a steeper hike.
