Nov. 29, 30, Dec. 1, 8, 15, 21, 22; 10am-6pm. EUGENE. Booksigning at Holiday Market in the SE corner of the largest building at the Lane Events Center (the county fairgrounds). Open to the public. Free.

Tuesday, December 3, 6:30pm dinner, 7:30 program. EUGENE. Presentation on "The History of Oregon Journalism" for the Round Table Club of Eugene at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Members and guests only.

Saturday, December 7, HILLSBORO; 11am-4pm booksigning, 12:45pm slide show on "What's New, Sullivan?". Booksigning and 10-minute slide show at the Wild Arts Festival, sponsored by the Bird Alliance of Oregon, in the Wingspan Events Center at 801 NE 34th Avenue (between the Hillsboro Airport and the Washington County Fairgrounds,). Access is also easy by MAX; the Hillsboro Airport stop is across the street. Open to the public. Admission is charged to the festival.  Parking is free. 

Saturday, December 14, 11am-4pm. EUGENE. Booksigning at the Authors & Artists Fair, in Lane Events Center (county fairgrounds), in the glass-roofed atrium between the halls occupied by Holiday Market. Open to the public. Free, but a small donation is suggest to benefit the Lane Library League.

Friday, January 31, 2025. EUGENE. 6:30pm potluck, 7:30pm program. Slide show on "Hiking the Wallowas and Eastern Oregon" at the Obsidian Lodge (south of Hendricks Park, but it's a little hard to find). Sponsored by the Obsidian outdoor club. Open to the public. Free.

Thursday, February 6. EUGENE. 5:30pm potluck, 6:30pm slide show. Slide show on "The Vikings: Fact & Fiction" for the Sonja Lodge of the Sons of Norway at 710 McKinley Street. Open to the public. Free.

Tuesday, March 18. BEND. 6pm. Slide show at the downtown Bend library on "Floods, Fires, & Volcanoes: Oregon's Greatest Natural Disasters." Open to the public. Free.

Wednesday, March 19. REDMOND. 1pm. Slide show at the Redmond branch of the Deschutes Public Library on "Floods, Fires, & Volcanoes: Oregon's Greatest Natural Disasters." Open to the public. Free.

Saturday, April 26.  SUNRIVER. 5pm. Slide show on "Hikes in Central Oregon & Beyond" at Sunriver Books & Music. Open to the public. Free. Contact the bookstore for a free (required) reservation.

Friday, May 9. BEND. 4pm. Slide show on "Best Wildflower Walks" at the downtown Bend public library. Open to the public. Free.

Saturday, May 10. REDMOND. 11am. Slide show on "Best Wildflower Walks" at the Redmond branch of the Deschutes Public Library. Open to the public. Free.

Sunday May 18, 9am-5pm. SPRINGFIELD. Booksigning at the Mt. Pisgah Wildflower Show. Open to the public. Tickets to the festival must be purchased in advance from the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum website.
