Calendar of Slide Shows & Booksignings

August 23 - September 2, 10am-8pm. SALEM. Booksigning at the Oregon State Fair, at the Oregon Authors Table in Columbia Hall. Open to the public. Admission is required to the fair.

September 14, Saturday. SISTERS. Slide show on "The Vikings: Fact & Fiction" at the Sisters Festival of Books.  For tickets and details see https://www.sistersfob.org/ . 

October 19, Saturday. 5pm. SUNRIVER. Slide show on "The Vikings in Denmark and England" at Sunriver Books & Music.  Open to the public. Free. Advance reservations with the bookstore are recommended.

November 1-2, Friday 6-9pm and Saturday 9-5pm. PORTLAND. Booksigning at the Portland Book Festival in the upstairs Grand Ballroom next to the Portland Art Museum on the Park Blocks.  Admission is required to the festival, but it includes a $5 voucher that can be used to purchase books.

November 5, Tuesday 2-4pm. EUGENE. Slide show on "The Vikings: Fact & Fiction" at the downtown Baker Center, sponsored by OLLI (learning in retirement). Open to the public for free, but register with OLLI at https://osher.uoregon.edu/ . 

November 12, Tuesday, 6:30 potluck, 7pm program. PORTLAND. Slide show on "Oregon's Best Snow Adventures" for the Oregon Nordic Club at the Multnomah Arts Center in Hillsdale. Open to the public. Free.

December 7, Saturday, 12noon-4pm. HILLSBORO. Booksigning at the Wild Arts Festival for the society formerly known as Portland Audubon. The event is being held at the Wingspan Events Center at 873 NE 34th in Hillsboro this year in order to avoid the parking and congestion of downtown Portland. Open to the public. Admission is charged. 

December 14, 2024, 10am-5pm. EUGENE. Booksigning at the Authors & Artists Fair, sponsored by the Lane Library League in the Atrium of the Lane Events Center next to Holiday Market. Open to the public. Donations are suggested for admission.

November 29, 30 and December 1, 8, 15, 21, 22, from 10am-5pm. EUGENE. Booksigning at Holiday Market in the Lane Events Center (the county fairgrounds). Open to the public. Free.
