An easy walk through an old-growth forest, this hike follows the South Breitenbush River to a rocky narrows where the river churns through a 100-yard-long slot. If you shuttle a second car to the upper trailhead you can walk the path one-way. But you won’t regret walking both directions along this pleasant forest trail.
