4.3-mile loop

400 feet elevation gain

When Frieda and K.T. Miller retired from Alaska to Oregon in 1967 they bought 130 acres of fields and forests in the hills west of McMinnville.  In 2004 Frieda left the land to the Yamhill Soil & Water Conservation District as an educational natural area.  Today the loop trail zigzagging around the border of the L-shaped property is a quiet place for a walk in the woods, visiting two small creeks.
