Include a ride on the Portland Aerial Tram as part of a loop hike into Portland’s wooded hills. You ride the tram for free if you take the longer “Four Ts” loop—named because it uses a trail, a tram, a trolley (the Portland Streetcar), and a train (the MAX light rail). The tram runs 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and 5:30am to 9:30pm on weekdays. Don’t plan this trip when the tram is closed on holidays! Sundays from May to September the tram runs only from 1-5pm.
