Best known for its dory fishing fleet, Pacific City’s beach offers a number of attractions for hikers. Start with a short stroll at the beach’s busy north end by Cape Kiwanda. The tidepools, clifftop viewpoints, and sand dunes here are especially popular for hikers with children. For a quieter loop, head for Bob Straub State Park at the south end of the beach, where a network of sandy trails allows hikers and equestrians to explore Nestucca Spit.
