Tourists who drive out from Bend to see picturesque, 97-foot Tumalo Falls often don’t realize that a dozen other waterfalls are hidden nearby on a network of woodsy trails. Even hikers with young children can usually manage the easy 1.9-mile path up Tumalo Creek to Double Falls and Upper Falls. If you continue on a 6.8-mile loop you’ll pass countless smaller waterfalls. This route crosses Bend’s Bridge Creek Watershed, where bikes, dogs, and tents are banned. From Highway . . .
