Practically inside Corvallis, Chip Ross Park has become a favorite spot to jog, walk the dog, or stroll across a meadowed knoll for a view of the Willamette Valley. But a less known, quieter trail extends beyond the park, climbing 3 miles through the McDonald Forest to a viewpoint atop Dimple Hill.
