Of the three largish lakes on the western flank of Diamond Peak, Blue Lake is the most visitable, with a level trail less than mile long through wildflower meadows. Corrigan Lake, however, is the only one with a view of Diamond Peak. And Happy Lake, though farther from trailheads, offers a waterfall. The real trick is to visit more than one lake on a single hike. Let’s find a way to do it.
