When wave-carved caves met underneath the yellow sandstone bluffs of Otter Rock, their roofs collapsed, leaving a gigantic “punchbowl” at the tip of the panoramic headland. For an easy walk that’s fun even with kids, explore the punchbowl from above and below, passing tidepools along the way. For a longer hike, walk the beach south to a woodsy loop beside the campground at Beverly Beach.
