An old-growth forest flanks this popular portion of the Clackamas River. Explore it on a riverside trail that visits secluded beaches and clifftop viewpoints. Because private concessionaires operate the campgrounds on either end of the trail—and charge $6 or more for parking—plan to start at the Riverside Trailhead along Road 46.
