Wallowa Lake State Park is one of Eastern Oregon’s most popular recreation destinations, so it’s surprising how few easy trails start here. Perhaps the best short family hike crosses a river gorge footbridge to a viewpoint beside BC Falls. If you don’t mind a little scrambling, you can do the hike as a loop.
